Federico Cervellini among mediators in MBM Group - AFC agreement

On April 24th a new partnership has been announced between MBM Group, Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum Investment company, and Arab Fashion Council: Federico Cervellini's support in this operation was fundamental.

Federico CervelliniOn April 24th MBM Investment (Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum Investment) signed a new partnership with world's greatest fashion no-profit organization: Arab Fashion Council (AFC). This agreement aims to spread Arab fashion field on an international scale. In order to promote this project, the biennial edition of Arab Fashion Week took place between May 16th and 20th. As in the previous years, this event was sponsored by Arab Fashion Council, with the support of recent partnership with MBM Group - represented by Director of Corporate Affairs Federico Cervellini, together with further members belonging to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum's private office: on May 16th they had a speech in front of prominent hosts as well as of Arab Fashion Council's members.
Referring to this new agreement, Arab Fashion Council AD Jacob Abrian stated: "Today marks a milestone in our history and we are honoured to receive such a great recognition from His Highness' office (MBM) in response to our constant commitment in supporting, nourish and keep growing local fashion business, considering that this branch represented the main pillar in some of the most important export countries economy worldwide over the centuries. We are really confident that this joint of forces will be of help in making real our long-term vision for 2030, so that to establish a successful "fashion pipeline" inside the Arab world. We immediately organized intensive workshops in order to put into practice our perspective, hoping that we will be able to give announcement within the current year thanks to a dedicated event". MBM Investment closed this important agreement also thanks to the contribution of Federico Cervellini. Regarding this, the private office of the Sheikh declared: "We are excited to have the chance to see the results that the Arab Fashion Council (AFC) reached during the year in its aim to position Dubai among the five biggest fashion capitals, through the most important event of this sector: Arab Fashion Week. We keep in high consideration their work, therefore we offer them our full support, in order to keep encouraging local talents growth, in addition to building a proper infrastructure to the Middle East fashion industry".

Federico Cervellini's education and professional growth in MBM Group

Current Director of Corporate Affairs Federico Cervellini was born in 1974. After his education in Italy, he became his own professional career working in the security sector. Thanks to his skills, he gained the role of Head of Security inside stores as well as important personalities belonging to the show business, between 1998 and 2003. During this period, in order to improve his skills, he attended various courses, including High Speed for Armoured Vehicles Course in 2002 and the Advanced Personal Defence Course in 2003. Afterwards, in 2004, he brought forward his professional path as Security Manager for famous Fashion Brands, as well as successful multinational enterprises belonging to the technological GDO. In those same years he attended a Marketing Course, which led him to start the entrepreneurial career, managing marketing and public relation activities, in particular for his catering and restaurant company, named Palazzo Guidi 1556, that he founded himself, together with his partners, in 2005. In 2009, he moved to United Arab Emirates: for the initial two years he managed security and private activities of Her Highness Sheikha Maryam bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi and until 2012. This is the year when Federico Cervellini joined MBM Group, company founded in 2006 and currently managed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, receiving the role of Director of Corporate Affairs. This company mission is to provide strategic support to those enterprises that wish to successfully invest in United Arab Emirates and in Middle East. In his private life, Mr Cervellini loves to travel ant to play sports, such as basketball and sky dive.
