Global consulting and investments: Sebastien Clamorgan's Venia International

With more than 25 years of business experience in sectors such as shipping, food & beverage, security, consumer goods, and real estate, Venia International supported the establishment of many global brands and carried out a considerable number of successful projects. The firm was founded by Sebastien Clamorgan in the late Nineties and started operating by setting up important business partnerships and joint ventures with companies dealing with different industry segments. Recognized as a reference point in the area and on the strength of more than 3,000 people employed, Venia International supports its partners on the most suitable approach for successful business by means of strategic planning processes and by providing key insights into markets. In addition, thanks to an extensive regional know-how on Africa and the Middle East, the firm and its founder support as well the creation and development of new corporations, as, among their services, they offer local content to ensure that companies comply with and are aware of the relevant policies and regulations in force where businesses are run. The other services provided include the development of growth roadmaps and planning processes, lobbying services such as consultancy in government relations and public policy, as well as non-governmental and grassroots support organizations, and assistance in undertaking profitable negotiations and closing M&As to help foster rapid growth. In addition to this, Sebastien Clamorgan's firm is well known for the projects it undertakes and the partnerships it builds with global players.

Sebastien Clamorgan: logistics and port management among Venia International's initiatives

With a particular focus on Africa and the Middle East, logistics and port management play an important role among the activities of the global consulting and investment firm Venia International. Indeed, thanks to its commitment to supporting the creation of joint ventures in the MENA region, Sebastien Clamorgan's firm undertook many projects throughout its business history. As an indirect shareholder, Venia International supported the transport company Trucklog LTD in improving quality and safety across transport businesses, helping the company to provide efficient services, and, as a consequence, to become a leader among the transport and logistics solutions providers in the Sub-Saharan Africa. Registered in 2015, Trucklog LTD started its operations in Nigeria (specifically in the area of Calabar) in 2017, with the purpose of catering to the cement manufacturer Lafarge Africa Plc. Just 18 months after starting its activities, the transport company was already Lafarge's best performer - with regard to revenue and safety - and turned out to be the best transporter in the east side of Nigeria during the period 2018-2019. Venia International is as well active in the field of port management: indeed, one recent project is the Badagry MegaPort and Free Zone, which is aimed at developing a new, ultra-modern port in Nigeria, in order to create a platform for regional and national development. Some of the most successful companies in Nigeria have been brought together to achieve the results set by the project, and, for its part, the global consulting and investment firm Venia International played the role of deal maker, broker and representative of a stakeholder' interests. Developed through a partnership between private entities, and overseen by the Nigerian Port Authorities, the project is one of the port management activities in which the firm participates and shows the relevance of Sebastien Clamorgan's firm in the port management sector in Africa.
