Sebastien Clamorgan: the story of Madeleine Clamorgan

Sebastien Clamorgan is an entrepreneur who founded the global firm Venia International in the early 1990's. Sebastien is Madeleine's Clamorgan's great grandson. The Clamorgan family has a noble history, which is deeply bound to Madeleine's life. She was born in Mayenne, France, in 1880 and she married Charles-Léon-Claude Daniélou. They had six children. One of Madeleine's son was Jean Daniélou, Cardinal of Paris in the 1970's. Since her childhood, she always had a great passion for studies. This faith in education and in the importance of being a literate never left her during her entire life. After finishing her primary education in 1897, her teachers were all astonished by her talent as a student. Thanks to them and to her passion, she managed to go to Paris and pursue a higher education. Madeleine went to college and got married to Charles Daniélou, becoming Mrs. Daniélou. Afterwards, together with with Miss Desrez, she founded the "Ecole Normale Libre Ms. Danielou". It was 1907. She personally took care of the Philosophy class and organized many conference and lectures, devoting herself to the French catholic school. During those years, Father Léonce de Grandmaison remained at her side as a support and as her spiritual mentor. In 1912 the school had 150 students. Madeleine founded the "Colleges Sainte Marie" in Neuilly sur Seine in 1913: the school welcomed 17.000 students and, after moving to Neuilly, 2,200 decided to study in the "Ecole Normale". As a representative of the family, Sebastien Clamorgan is deeply connected to Madeleine's story: the entrepreneur is committed to honoring and keeping alive the memory of his great grandmother.
