Lorenzo Vangelisti’s career as Founder and CEO of Valeur Group

Lorenzo Vangelisti was born in Mendrisio (Switzerland) in 1977. He is a manager and investor with more than 20 years of international experience in banking and finance. In 2010 he established Valeur Group, an independent firm operating in asset management, investment advisory, risk management, trading, and real estate services. He is the CEO of the Group and is committed to leading it to provide a safe and solid financial harbor for clients.

Lorenzo Vangelisti: education and career before establishing Valeur Group

Lorenzo Vangelisti's professional path features a strong specialized education. After receiving his high school diploma from the "Scuola cantonale di commercio" in Bellinzona (Switzerland), in 2001 he continued his studies with a Swiss Certified Banking Specialist Certificate, which he earned from Centro di Studi Bancari - Vezia (Switzerland). Three years later, he strengthened further his professional skills and obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certificate, issued by the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, VA (USA). Previously, he had already started to work at a high-profile financial firm: in 1996 he joined Credit Suisse International, where he first served as Assistant Relationship Manager for the Private Banking Division. Lorenzo Vangelisti subsequently specialized in Structured Products and Derivatives and took on the role of Structured Products Specialist. In a few years, he was appointed to several positions of responsibility at Credit Suisse International: first as Vice President of the Private Banking Network and later, after moving to London, he became Director of the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Division, a role which made him responsible for institutional clients in Italy, Switzerland, and Monaco.

In 2010 Lorenzo Vangelisti founded Valeur Group: his main idea was to create a firm that could represent a safe financial harbor for clients and investments. As Partner and CEO, he is committed to leading the firm with the objective of delivering excellence in all the services provided. These include high value-added solutions ranging across a broad array of geographies, asset classes, styles, and objectives. The Group operates independently in asset management, investment advisory, risk management, trading, and real estate services, with operations in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom carried out by five interrelated companies. Valeur Capital Ltd is based in London and represents the heart of Valeur Group's asset management and structured investment product services. It specializes in developing the most advanced financial engineering techniques in order to build and price customized products. Valeur Capital Ltd manages Luxembourg-based funds (SIF and UCITS) and is authorized by the Financial Conduct Authority. Valeur SA (Lugano) is the hub of the Group's research and operates as an asset manager of foreign collective investment schemes. It was awarded with the LICol/CISA license and manages UCITS and SIF Luxemburg funds. Valeur Securities SA (Pfäffikon, Switzerland) is instead the Group's trading desk providing an investment platform with broad access to the market. The firm headed by Lorenzo Vangelisti also includes Valeur Concept SA - which is based in Lugano and provides real estate investment solutions and architectural services - and SaaS multi-dealer platform LinkedTrade Technologies Ltd., a London-based digital platform for trading products.
