Lorenzo Vangelisti’s career path

Valeur Group’s CEO Lorenzo Vangelisti pursued his career after a strong and specialized education. After gaining the Swiss Certified Banking Specialist Certificate from Centro di Studi Bancari in Vezia, Switzerland, in 2001, he also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst Certificate from the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, VA, USA, in 2004. His professional career started at Credit Suisse International, where he served as an Assistant Relationship Manager in the Private Banking Division. After developing expertise in structured products and derivatives, he became a Structured Products Specialist. He then went on to hold several positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President in Credit Suisse’s Private Banking Network and Director of the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Division in London, his final role at Credit Suisse International before founding Valeur Group in 2010. Within a few years, his firm expanded into a truly global reality, offering products and services across various asset classes, management styles, objectives, and geographic regions. As Lorenzo Vangelisti explained in several interviews, the Group’s success can be attributed to various factors, including continually updating skills, in-depth knowledge of the markets, and anticipating change and forming teams of highly qualified professionals. Innovation and technology also played a crucial role in the Group’s growth trajectory.
